About me - Solomiya

I am an artist and photographer, a wife and mother of two wonderful children. I draw inspiration from the beauty of the world around us. But most importantly, my heart melts when I observe the true, authentic, and honest emotions between people, which I can capture through photography. Almost 12 years ago, I moved to Dorset with my husband and fell in love with this place, which soon became my home.

I wanted to capture and keep every precious moment. So, I started taking my camera everywhere I went. Soon after I started creating photo stories for other families to enable them to keep their own pieces of history and joyful times. In the meantime, I was developing my own style of photography. What kinds of photos make us smile and give us the feeling of warmth? Those natural, full of love and devoid of artificiality, when we just know that in those photos, we have experienced something beautiful, and it becomes a precious memory.

My favourite colour is yellow, favourite flower is Ranunculus and my favourite season is spring . Also, I’m a big fan of vintage style and jazz music.

Love nature

I love nature, so I do most of my sessions outdoors. I believe that it is a perfect background for family photo stories. I have been living in Dorset for 12 years, and there are a lot of places to choose from – beautiful beaches, forests, meadows and parks😁👌🏻. I create a relaxed atmosphere in my photo sessions. Before I start photographing, I like to exchange a few words with you at the session. I make sure that everyone can feel comfortable
